Trip description: 

• Trip availability: February 1st to May 15th 
  • Prime steelhead fishing: February, March, April
• Location(s): Durham Region 
• Meeting Point: Meet your guide at the spot. Meeting point will be provided after booking. 
• Time: You choose! Mornings are recommended, but alternate timing can be arranged with your guide before your trip
• Type: Walk and wade (spinning rods or centrepin fishing available)
• Gear: Provided (includes rods, reels, line, waders, tackle) 
• Terrain: Rugged (be prepared to walk down hills, over rocks, in water, on snowy and icy/slippery surfaces). Your comfort level can be discussed with your guide before your trip
• Weather:
  • Winter: Snow or shine (trips will be rescheduled 12 hours before your trip if driving conditions are predicted to be unsafe or if there is risk of freezing rain, heavy snowfall, ice storms or dangerously low temperatures)
  • Spring: Rain or shine (trips will be rescheduled 12 hours before your trip if there is risk of a severe thunderstorm and lightning)
• Due to the unpredictability of the rivers, catching a fish is NOT guaranteed​
